      Both a celebration of tradition and an exploration of artistic expression, Qi Baishi: Inspiration in Ink highlights the painter’s mastery of calligraphic brushwork, transforming everyday subjects into poetic narratives. Through bilingual set type and immersive design, the exhibition bridges art and language, inviting viewers to experience the rhythm and balance of Qi Baishi’s world.




    Mood-boarding

    Early moodboarding/typographic ideation focused on using calligraphic typography, alluding to Baishi’s work. Inspired by agricultural ink drawings that inspired Baishi’s work, typography and graphics focused on differing line weight and delicate patterns.
